...Well Homo-Superior anyway. Yep. I gave blood today and *shock surprise* I was told that with great excitement by yet another bloodworker. First my doctors now these idiots haha.

So yeah, they're convinced my blood is more "potent" than most peoples. Yay. But they were saying it like it's great for ME. What about the people it's gonna help? That's why I did it. People can be annoying sometimes.

So anyway, I don't know if I've mentioned this before on DA but I'm a fighter. A darn good one. So good that anyone I've ever fought never wants to fight me again... enough said on that. But having the official title of Homo-Superior does make more sense in respect to my agility, endurance and power in the ring. My lung capacity is higher than normal and my blood clots at an excelerated rate. Maybe I should be doing some other profession than just a desk job lol.

And on to my designs for the Game X mascot. My pitch was successful as y'all know already, and tomorrow I'm having an official meeting with the owner in regards to signing the designs over to the company... and my pay cheque! Woo!

As annoying as my life is at the moment, it has it's ups as well as downs

Okay, even though most of the people likely to read this are in America there are a few of you here in Australia. Even a few of my friends through DA are in SE Queensland. As per the above title I am urgently seeking a new job. I need to find employment by the 27/11/09 or I'm on the street basically. Anything anybody hears about, no matter what the job is (I will literally scrub toilets if that's what it takes) will be extremely appreciated.

I've been canvassing and calling in from advertisements starting today. Even if all you do is laugh about my predicament, I appreciate that you've read this far lol

Okay well I'll keep this short and sweet. My gym has approached me to design their mascot. A superhero based around their logo. I am so happy that I get to be involved in an aspect of this gym. Everyone there has been so good to me, I feel like i should do this for fee haha.

so yeah, I take my first batch of concept sketches to Darren (the manager/part-owner) on Monday for inspection. I've already asked about what he wanted and I've incorporated it into my design as best I could. So fingers crossed everyone that it's what he's after.

Next stage after any more revesions I'm asked to make is to color this badboy. I'll need to involve the guys at Game X Fitness alot in that stage cos it's all about keeping the client (and in this case, my friends) happy.

Getting work as an artist is satisfying beyond words

EDIT: Umm also, can any of my watchers and friends please offer advice on whether or not I can post my concepts up on here before this deal is finished? or would that be illegal because I'm doing this for a business?

I just bought Frank Miller's The Dark Knight Returns and The Dark Knight Strikes Again.. and I am EXCITED to read them back-to-back. It's gonna be awesome to re-read TDKR and I've never actually read "Strikes Again" so that's gonna be cool in a nostalgic kinda way

Also, I just had a 1 and a half hour lunch break haha = Awesomeness. I went out, had my lunch and then started on my way back to work. Then I bumped into Frankie from the Gym and I got to chatting to her for half an hour hahaha. It ranged from my art and martial arts history through to her job and how Germany (where she's originally from) is so different to Australia (she likes it here better hehe).

So yes, all in all, this has been a good Friday

to those of you expecting things from me, please don't keep your hopes up. I've had the weekend from hell and whilst I'm not going to go into it, I will say that I've been unable to (for several reasons) get anything done that even resembles the work I set out to do over this weekend.

... seriously it seems like it's been the "global Zack hating event" this weekend. I set out to help people and wind up being made to feel suicidal again. Good times...
